We are excited to announce that the communications suite is now free! To get all of the features for SMS Chat, Calling, and Video all from within Solar CRM, all you need to do is set up an account with Twilio and then drop in your credentials within the CRM.
* Please note that Twilio carries its own fees and rates which should be reviewed before using the service.
Once you have created your Twilio account and are on their Dashboard, go to Settings in the left-hand navigation. On the General Settings page, you'll see a section titled "API Credentials". Within that section, there will be a box titled "LIVE Credentials" where you can find your Account SID and AUTH TOKEN. Copy both of those values and store them nearby.
Back in Solar CRM, click on "Settings" at the bottom of the left-hand menu. On the Settings page, you'll see a section towards the bottom called "Manage Your Organization" which contains a sub-section called "Integrations". Wtihin Integrations, click Twilio.
Now, all you need to do is enter the Account SID and AUTH TOKEN values you copied from Twilio, choose if you'd like to record calls, and then click "Add Twilio". You now have full access to the communications suite and all of the features it offers.
